Maneuvering on her own for the first time, Ren "borrows" a discarded air sled. Her trip to the lower plateau unlocks her mind and broadens her horizons
The story centers itself on Ren's self-discovery and the deep and dark secrets the land of Kalanthix holds.

Kyrna is a 15 year-old girl with light, faded red hair. Kyrna lives happily yet simply within the slums of a city at war. Trying to combat the rising inhabitants within the slums and the dwindling ranks of military forces, the military decides to raid the slums. Against her will, Kyrna is forced into their ranks. What of Kyrna's scarred past. How will it affect her?
What awaits Kyrna? Will she excel in the art of killing or will she escape the military's clutches?

The main character is Khine, who is an innocent 11 year old girl living with her grandfather. Of course, this is not a normal arrangement, since they live in an underground complex of metal laden with technology. Khine’s caretakers are a group of young women whom she has grown attached to. Despite her unique living conditions and her family, Khine, her grandfather, and the girls live peacefully below the surface in this labyrinth.
One day, Khine’s life is turned upside down as a military force decides to infiltrate the underground complex. Through the chain of events that follow Khine is forced to fend for her own, meet new acquaintances, and to learn about the harsh world she was sheltered from during the first eleven years of her life.

Rumi is a 15 year-old girl with jet black hair. Rumi grew up as a clanswoman of one of the four Pherial tribes, a tribe of technologically advanced, yet savage people whose goals are to dominate the people on the vast continent of Kalanthix at their leisure. One day, vengeful nations muster their forces together in an attempt to crush the military might of the Pherial tribe that Rumi is a part of. At a great cost, this surprise offensive successfully cripples the tribe's military strength. Only under two hundred Pherial soldiers remain on the battlefield and among them is Rumi and some of her fellow friends and comrades. Along with her few remaining comrades and friends, Rumi is caught within this onslaught and chooses to fight to survive even though her situation seems grim.

Set in Japan during the Muromachi period, this story is about two twin sisters Akiko and Kirara. Kiyoko is a young single mother who one day came back to the village beat up and with torn attire. A few months later, Kiyoko gave birth to twins, Akiko and Kirara. Physically the twins look Japanese in every sense except for their hair color. Akiko has light golden hair while Kirara has light reddish hair. Within their small village, their existence is one of envy and abhorrence to the villagers due to their matter of birth. This story follows their life within the Muromachi period.

Set in contemporary Japan, this story is about Meiko and Tsuneo. Meiko is a normal spunky Japanese girl. On the surface Tsuneo seems like a normal reserved Japanese boy, however, he is capable of seeing spiritual beings. This ability manifest's itself for the first time at the age of eleven during their fateful meeting at Shinjuku train station. This is their story of friendship, growing pains, and more.

The Crux core story takes places a couple years after the Munashii Yume story. The story follows now grown up Tsuneo, his life, reflection of the events that transpired in the past, and the uncertainties of the future that lay before him. Additionally, this story blends the fate of multiple characters from other stories as well.
