YEAR ONE
An idea was born in early 2009 that would eventually become First Storm
Manga. In the months that have followed, we have published our first
compilation, Manga Madness Vol. 1 and our first mini-manga,
San Japanic!.
First Storm Manga was present at the 2009 San
Japan and RealmsCon conventions.
We also hosted our first Teen Art Clinic at the San Antonio Public Library,
and had an article published about us in the
San Antonio Express-News and the
Houston Chronicle.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making 2009
such a great first year. First Storm Manga is just getting started: in
2010 there will be more compilations, more conventions, more art clinics,
more stories, more art, and most importantly, more manga!
We wish all of our members and readers the best this holiday season, and we
look forward to having a great 2010!

Over a dozen students attended the F.S.M. Teen Art Clinic held on
December 5th at the San Antonio Public Library's Central Branch. A great
time was had by all, and we look forward to doing it again in the future!
Photos are now up in the Gallery, and we would like to thank Teen
Services Librarians Sylvia Pachecano and Violeta Garza for helping us put
it all together.
The story of "Toast: The Dark Rye Avenger"
continues, as The Big Cheese makes himself known in the Epilogue!

the First Storm Manga Teen Art Clinic to be held Saturday, December 5th at 2:00
