Anime Matsuri 2010 begins today,
and First Storm Manga will be there to debut our second compilation:
Manga Madness 2.0!
We will have two tables in Artists' Alley. At the first,
we will be giving out FREE copies of Manga Madness 2.0, Toast: Vol. 1,
and other items. At the second, First Storm Manga artists will
be selling art, so drop on by!
First Storm Manga currently has branches in San Antonio, Houston, and Austin,
Texas.
We are always looking for new members, so if you are a creative in or near one of
those cities and are interested in joining First Storm Manga, come by and we'll
gladly answer any questions or check out our FAQ

manga, short stories, articles, and tips from F.S.M. members.
The Crux Project page has been updated with new information, including character
bios and pictures.
Random a.k.a. "Mega Ran" will be
collaborating with Austin "Redbeard" Rogers on a
project for one of MegaRan's upcoming albums.

Our second Teen Art Clinic was held March 6 at the San Antonio Public Library's
Central Branch. A dozen students attended and in addition to drawing techniques,
writing was also discussed.
Pictures are available for viewing in the Gallery.
The first meeting of our Austin chapter was held on March 7, we had an
enthusiastic group meetup at Kick Butt
Coffee. Our newest Assistant Organizer Chelsea
"Illuminesce" Hostetter will be spearheading our efforts there.

Mizuumi-con is over, and we had a great
time talking with folks and handing out copies of
San Japanic! and
Toast Vol. 1 - First Slice
Pictures from Mizuumi-con are now up in the Gallery,
and our first-ever First Storm Manga panel will be up on YouTube soon.

2010 gets off to a great start for First Storm Manga this Saturday as we will be at
Mizuumi-con! In addition to our
table, members
Austin "Redbeard" Rogers,
Chelsea "Illuminesce" Hostetter, and
Vanmaniac will have their own tables at Artist Alley
located in the Chapel Auditorium.
First Storm Manga will also be hosting a panel: "Aspiring Artists" takes
place at 2pm in the Blue Room.
Our second First Storm Manga Teen Art Clinic will be held March 6th at 2pm at
the San Antonio Central Library.
A third First Storm Manga chapter is starting up in Austin, Texas. The first meeting
is scheduled for March 7th, if you are in the Austin area and wish to join

Our second con of the year will be
Anime Matsuri, which will be held from
April 2-4 and will feature the debut of our second compilation.

Mizuumi-con is this month, and there, we will
debut our new mini: "Toast Vol. 1 - First Slice."
